Members of Utica's City Ethics Board will start attending neighborhood meetings.

There are five members on the Board of Ethics.  Although the committee has been in existence since 1993 it has, according to many, been ignored, having not formally met in years.  In a written statement Utica Mayor Rob Palmieri said, "It's time to breathe life back into a process designed to build public trust and bring integrity back to City Hall."

Ethics board members will attend the May meeting of the Cornhill Neighborhood Association next week.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30pm at 230 James Street in Utica.
