Utica’s Peregrine Falcons Begin Producing Eggs
Utica's Peregrine Falcons have begun producing eggs.
A single egg has been laid in the Peregrine Falcon's nest box on the Adirondack Bank Building in downtown Utica.
Officials with the Utica Peregrine Falcon Committee say it's the first Peregrine Falcon egg to be laid in the city in five years.
They say experts believe the new nest represents the best chance yet of breeding success for the endangered species.
