Vehicle Larcenies Reported In Ilion Area

More than a dozen vehicle larcenies took place in the Village of Ilion area during the overnight hours of Sunday into Monday.

State Police say 8 vehicles were entered on Ray Street, Barringer Road and Second Street in Ilion and 6 vehicles were broken into on Applewood Drive in German Flatts.

They say several vehicles were unlocked and others were forcibly enetered by breaking out windows.

Most vehicles were parked in the driveways of homes.

Items stolen included money, cell phones, GPS units and other electronic equipment.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ilion Police at 894-9911 or State Police at 866-7275.
