Vehicle Larcenies up 175% in Utica

Utica, NY (WIBX) -  Keep you vehicle doors locked at all times, that's the message from Utica Police. According to authorities, 77 reports of vehicle larcenies were reported for the month of June, that's an increase of 175% from last June.
Authorities are reminding the public that vehicle break-ins are crimes of opportunity and residents should never leave anything, like electronic equipment in plain view.
