Vernon Center Man Arrested For Larceny

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - New Hartford Police have arrested a Vernon Center man for allegedly stealing from Sears.

Police say Sears security personnel saw a man exit the store with two Blue Ray DVD players and a vacuum worth nearly $800.

They were unable to stop the man before he left in a vehicle.

30-year old Donald Kipp was arrested after he showed up at the Sears store in Dewitt  trying to return the items without a receipt.

Kipp was charged with petty larceny.
