Vernon Center Man Violates Order Of Protection

A Vernon Center man was charged with two crimes after New Hartford Police say he allegedly violated a protection order.

Officials say Kyle Thurston, 29, called a woman who had an active Order of Protection against him and threatened her with violence.

Thurston was arrested and charged with one felony count of Criminal Contempt and a misdemeanor count of Aggravated Harassment.

He was arraigned din the Town of New Hartford Court and posted bail.
