Vernon Downs Investor Gary Greenberg Protesting Oneida Agreement

Gary A. Greenberg, an investor in Vernon Downs, is actively protesting the proposed agreement between New York, Oneida and Madison counties, and the Oneida Indian Nation.

His posts on Twitter posts have been frequent and critical of the plans:

He said that, after speaking with his family, they are ending their fifty-seven year relationship with Vernon Downs.

Greenberg says that he is not only disappointed in the agreement but with the process as well.

His divestiture is more practical than financial, as he will not longer be assisting the organization with its activities, and his family will refrain from speaking for the raceway.
