Vernon Downs Season Opens On Friday

The 2014 harness racing season gets underway on Friday night at Vernon Downs.with a post-time of 6:45.

The night will include a celebration to honor Hall of Fame track announcer Jim Moran, who will retire after 50 years as the voice of Vernon Downs.

This will be the 61st year of racing at Vernon Downs.

The season will feature 90 racing dates, ending on November 1st.
