The New York Mets avoided a three-game weekend sweep against the Dodgers on Sunday with the help of two home runs off the bat of Lucas Duda, and seldom seen triple play.

Leading 7-2 in the sixth inning, Mets starter Bartolo Colon had worked himself into a bit of a jam - L.A. had runners on first and second with none out and Matt Kemp coming to the plate.

Colon got Kemp to ground into a routine double play, but when Yasiel Puig tried to catch the Mets sleeping he was gunned out at home to complete the Mets' first triple play since 2010.
