A driver who allegedly hit another from behind is recovering from injuries after an accident yesterday.According to a written release from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 64-year-old  Edward J. Paul of Cleveland, New York is being treated and evaluated for injuries to his head after allegedly driving into the back of a car at the intersection of State Routes 13 and 49 in Vienna.

75-Year-old Frederick Timerson and his wife, 75-year-old Katherine Timerson, were treated and released at the scene.  Their car was stopped when Deputy David LaPlante says Paul hit their vehicle from behind.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the North Bay Fire Department and Vieall Ambulance.

LaPlante says tickets were issued to Edward Paul for following too closely and not wearing his seat belt.
