Vienna Man Damages Patrol Vehicle, Ties To Escape

Vienna, NY (WIBX) - A Vienna man is facing charges after he allegedly smashed the window out of an Oneida County Sheriff's Office patrol car.

Deputies took John Finen into custody last night on Dixon Road in North Bay following a domestic incident that began in Rome.

While waiting arraignment on charges of harassment and resisting arrest, Finen kicked out the rear passenger window of the patrol vehicle and crawled out of the car.

He was apprehended by deputies.

Finen was also charged with criminal mischief and attempted escape.
