Dr. Evan Sandler is a native of New York, growing up in the Catskill mountain region. He graduated from the State University of New York, College of Oneonta with a Bachelors of Science. He then pursued his dream career by graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Sandler has a passion for Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Neurology.
Dr. Heather Sandler grew up in Joplin, MO. After graduating from Missouri State, she pursued her veterinary career at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she met Evan. Dr. Heather has special interests in Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Dentistry.
In addition to their practice, Dr. Evan and Dr. Heather volunteer with such organizations as Spring Farm Cares, has sponsored “Bark for Life” and offer veterinary services to Angels of Fur, Humane Society of Rome and Rescue Me K9.
Dr. Heather started Dr. Heather’s House Calls in 2001, filling a major void in the Mohawk Valley. When not practicing medicine, Drs. Heather and Evan love spending time with their two children, as well as reading and enjoying the outdoors.
