Visitor Restrictions Lifted At Local Hospitals

Based on a decline in the number of cases of flu-like illness among area patients, Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center have lifted the restrictions on visitors under the age of 18.

The visitors restrictions have also been lifted in the hospital's Maternity and Pediatric Units.

Officials say while the restrictions have been lifted, anyone coming to visit a patient who feels ill with any type of respiratory problem is asked to stay home.
