The 3rd annual "Warm for Winter" Clothing Drive to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica and the Rome Rescue Mission is underway.

The drive is sponsored by Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi.

“I started Warm for Winter several years ago, and was amazed at the outstanding response from community members. The outpouring of support from residents of both the Utica and Rome areas was overwhelming.  We received many coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots for families in need. These donations truly make a difference in the lives of many families right here in the Mohawk Valley, and I am pleased to again host this very worthwhile project,” said Brindisi.

Winter clothing items, including coats, hats and gloves, can be dropped off at Chantary's in Utica and the Jervis Pubic Library in Rome.

The clothing drive runs until October 30th.
