Warners Man Recovering Following Car-Motorcycle Accident in Vienna

A Warners man is recovering from injuries sustained as a result of a car-motorcycle accident in the Town of Vienna.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol, the accident occurred at the intersection of Route 49 and Yager Road.

An investigation revealed 54-year-old Tracy Bach failed to yield to 79-year-old Robert Valente who was on his motorcycle.

As a result Valente struck the passenger side of Bach's vehicle and he was ejected from his motorcycle. He sustained non-life threatening injuries to his hip and was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center for treatment.

Bach was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right of Way and having an unregistered motor vehicle. She will appear in the Town of Vienna Court to answer both summons at a later date.
