Washburn Chosen To Replace Speciale On Oneida County Legislature

Oneida County Democrats have picked Lori Washburn to replace Harmony Speciale on the Oneida County Board of Legislators.

Speciale lost her 21st District seat after failing to sign her oath of office card within the required 30 days.

Washburn's appointment must be approved by County Executive Anthony Picente and then okayed by the Board of Legislators.

Legislators are expected to vote on the appointment at their next meeting on March 9th.
