Waterville Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child For Years

Waterville, NY (WIBX) - Officials at the Oneida County Sheriff's Office are confirming the arrest of a Waterville man who allegedly sexually abused a female child under the age of 11. The report from the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center states that 49-year-old David J. Lemery of Berrill Avenue allegedly sexually abused the victim for several years.

Lemery is charged with one count of Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree. He was arraigned in the Village of New York Mills and taken to the Oneida County Jail with bail set at $15,000. Officials say the case is still under investigation and will be turned over to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office for Grand Jury action.
