More than just vows were exchanged during a weekend wedding in New York.

New York State Police say they were contacted by a man two days after a ceremony in Hoosick Falls.  The man claimed that he was a guest at the reception of 45-year old David R. Labrie of Eagle Bridge and his new bride when he and Labrie allegedly started arguing.

The fight turned physical and the victim claims that Labrie punched him several times in the face.  Troopers say the victim left the argument with two chipped teeth, bruises, and a cut on his face that required stitches.

Labrie was immediately contacted by police.  He turned himself in at the Brunswick barracks and was released with a promise to appear in court in the Town of Hoosick on July 24, 2014.
