LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (AP) — A massive motorcycle rally attracting tens of thousands of riders is roaring into a southeastern Adirondack resort town for the 35th year.

The annual Americade rally runs Tuesday through Saturday at Lake George. It bills itself as the "world's largest touring rally," referring to larger, highway-friendly motorcycles. Events include stunt shows, demonstration rides, boat cruises and the music of Molly Hatchet and Commander Cody.

There's also a big expo featuring hundreds of vendors selling everything from bikes to body jewelry.

While the events and motorcycle expo are held in Lake George village, bikers will be cruising through the back roads of the Adirondacks and the Green Mountains of Vermont on guided tours.

At a preview party Monday evening, Yamaha will unveil its latest motorcycle model.
