SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Syracuse are investigating two shootings that have left four people being treated for gunshot wounds.

Officers responding around 11 p.m. Sunday to reports of a shooting on West Beard Avenue found two men, ages 31 and 32, both suffering from gunshot wounds to their lower legs. Both men were taken to Upstate University Hospital treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Officers say a 31-year-old woman also had a gunshot wound to her lower leg. Police say she refused to provide any information and later sought medical treatment at the same hospital.

The second shooting occurred around 12:50 a.m. Monday on Oakwood Avenue, where a 34-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. He was taken to the same hospital as the three other victims for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
