The candidates in the Republican Primary for the 22nd Congressional District seat are getting in some last-minute campaigning before tomorrow's primary.

Steve Wells was at the Boulevard Diner in Whitesboro today, along with Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente.

Wells had a chance to talk with Boulevard Diner owner Rich Grimaldi about the issues he's facing as an independent business person.

He says the fact that he's not a politician and is someone who has created 1,000 jobs in his family food service business make him the best person for the job.

Wells, Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney and George Phillips face off in Tuesday's GOP Primary.  They're running for the seat currently held by Richard Hanna.

The polls will be open from noon to 9:00.
