West Edmeston Man Arrested For Rape

West Edmeston, NY (WIBX) - A West Edmeston man is being charged with rape after he was arrested by the Oneida County Sheriff's Department.

According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, Dean Zabele, 47, was arrested yesterday following an investigation of an alleged sexual assault in 2011.

Zabele was charged with felony rape and sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Advocacy Center, and Zabele's case has been sent to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office for Grand Jury consideration.
