West Utica Concerned Citizens Meeting 8/27/14

The West Utica Concerned Citizens met last night to discuss issues concerning citizens and to hear an update on the Stewart's Shop coming to State and Court Streets.

Tim Trent said while Stewart's Representative Chuck Marshall wasn't able to attend he did send an email detailing the store's progress after being approved by Utica's Planning Board last week.

He said Marshall told him via email that Stewart's is in the final stages of closing on the property and demolition on the existing building should begin soon.

Trent added that he would like to see a grocery store open up on the west side of the Arterial that would be easily accessed by West Utica residents.
