Western Man Accused Of Firing Rifle During Dispute

A Town of Western man has been arrested for allegedly firing a rifle during a dispute.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 20-year old Brandon Trautner got into a verbal argument with a woman who has an order of protection against him.

They say as the argument escalated Traunter went into a garage, picked up a rifle, loaded it and fired several rounds into the air.

Traunter, who is on parole and was just released from prison in March, is facing several charges including harassment and criminal possession of a weapon.
