ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A 27-year-old man has been found guilty of wounding another man and killing a bystander in a shooting on a Rochester street corner last November.

The Monroe County District Attorney's Office says a county court jury on Tuesday convicted Akeem Harris on charges that included murder and attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Harris confronted Derick Reed at the corner of Jefferson and Frost avenues on Nov. 7, 2016. Investigators say Harris had a gun that he handed to his brother, Kadeem Harris.

Authorities say Kadeem Harris fired seven shots, injuring Reed and killing 32-year-old Darryle Conner as he stood nearby.

Akeem Harris will be sentenced on July 14.
