Going In Style - 2 1/2 Waffles

"Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, three lifelong pals risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money." (IMDb)

Waffle describes the bank robbing escapade as a fizzling plot. "We root for them so much... but we lose it at the end." It will grab your attention in the beginning but then really slows down towards the end.

Smurfs: The Lost Village - 1 1/2 Waffles

"In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting race through the Forbidden Forest leading to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history." (IMDb)

"I wish I could choke a Smurf." Waffle jokes as he begins the review. He describes it as "Kind of funny at times." Parents might try to sneak a nap as the humor is heavily geared towards children.
