This year Daylight Saving Time began on Sunday March 12th at 2 AM and as the classic saying goes, Spring forward and Fall back.

Daylight Saving Time will end on Sunday November 5th at 2 AM. Once again landing on the first Sunday in November and for those who remember that it ended in October it is because Congress voted to move it from mid-October to early November in 2007.

Many believe that Daylight Saving Time was enacted in the early 1900s to save energy, cut down on crime or help farmers. The truth is that Daylight Saving Time was created as a fuel saving measure by the Germans during the first World War and the only impact it has today is a statistic increase in traffic accidents.
