Whitesboro Man Arrested for Allegedly Breaking into Forestport Church
A Whitesboro man is in police custody after sheriffs arrested him for allegedly breaking into a church in Forestport, New York.
Oneida County Sheriffs say 24-year old Nicholas S. Logalbo was hiding inside of St. Patrick's Catholic Church after allegedly breaking a window to get inside. Authorities say several items in the church had been moved or damaged.
Logalbo is charged with burglary. He is being held on $25,000 bail.
St. Patrick's Catholic Church is the resident parish of Father Sean O'Brien, a frequent guest of WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning. Father Sean, a reservist in the U.S. Navy, is currently deployed in North Africa.
