Whitesboro Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

A Whitesboro man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

37-year old Paul Sylvester is charged with three counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.  Sylvester is accused of possessing images of a child less than 16 years old.

He's being held in the Oneida County Jail without bail.

State Police say Information leading to the arrest was uncovered by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force.  Several computer related devices were seized from Sylvester's home.

The investigation is continuing.
