A Whitesboro woman has been arrested following a larceny complaint at the New Hartford Wal-Mart.

New Hartford Police say 44-year old Kimberlei Treen allegedly removed the bar code stickers from several DVD's and replaced them with bar codes from previously purchased Wal-Mart tems.

They say Treen then went to the self checkout area of the store and scanned the DVD's, which rang up at a much lower price than they were marked at.

She was also seen scannning other store merchandise with a price tag she had in her hand.

That resulted in an over $100 loss for the store.

Treen was charged with falsifying business records, a felony and petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
