According to Whitestown Police, on July 3, a group of kids at the skate park on Gibson Road saw a white male walk into the woods near the back of the park with a bag. Several minutes later the kids heard crying and/or meowing coming from the wooded area. What they found was a small kitten in a plastic bag bound at the legs with tape.

Whitestown PD says the only description given was a white male approximately 5' 9" tall possibly driving a silver car.

The kitten was taken to Spring Farm CARES where it was treated and rehabilitated. The family that found the kitten has since adopted it.

No further details are available at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Whitestown Police at (315) 736-1100.
