Whitestown Police Make Arrest in Outdoor Pot Growing Operation

There was more than just good will growing near the Whitestown Town Park.

Responding to a call of a report of "suspicious activity," Officer F.S. McCully of the Whitestown Police Department discovered an outdoor marijuana growing operation near Gibson Road.

The discovery was made on Sunday, September 7, 2014 just after 6:30pm.

21-Year old Daniel J. Parker of Gibson Road was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana along with a misdemeanor charge of illegally growing marijuana.  He was issued appearance tickets.

Whitestown Police, who were assisted by the Oneida County Drug Enforcement Task Force, say their investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
