Why This Is Not Your Father’s Root Beer – WIBX Craft Beer Of The Week

Many of you are familiar with the popular Craft Beer of the Week segment on WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning. Our better-beer distributor John Naegele pops in with some samples....recently he brought what at first I thought was soda.

Not only does it look like soda Root Beer, it has a carbonated look, taste and color of soda, too. If he hadn't told me what it was, I really wouldn't have known. It's called 'Not Your Father's Root Beer', because it isn't. According to Small Town Brewery's website, it's 10% ABV.

However, I guess they make blends with different levels of alcohol content??? The bottles we sampled in the video below with Naegele were labeled 5.9% ABV.
