Will Beer and Wine Help Barnes and Noble?

Barnes and Noble was in front of the New Hartford Board on Wednesday night giving notice that they plan to seek a beer and wine license from the NYS Liquor Authority.

While the local Barnes and Noble seems to be bustling, nationally, the company is losing money and they're looking for new ways to increase revenue.  It's thought that adding beer and wine,even if for just special events, might be a part of that plan to attract new business.
