Will This Week’s Stabbing In Texas Affect The Gun Control Debate?

The man accused of stabbing more than a dozen people at Lone Star Community College is making his first court appearance today.

Dylan Quick reportedly told authorities that he has been fantasizing about stabbing people since he was eight years old.  As more information on the specifics of the attack unveils a new debate is emerging.

The stabbings are now playing a part in the gun control debate.  Opponents of new gun control legislation say those who want to attack will do so regardless of the weapons available.
