Williamstown Man Arrested For Rape

A Williamstown man is under arrest after allegedly committing a sexual assault nearly seven years ago.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office and Oneida County Child Advocacy Center arrested Charles Maret III, 30, charging him with Rape.

In May 2006, Maret was involved in an incident which Chief Dean Obernesser says was reported to have occurred in Camden, but a call wasn't made to the agency until only a couple weeks ago.

Maret was sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail.
