Wilmer walks-it-off!

The New York Mets took Sunday's rubber match 3-2 against the Milwaukee Brewers with the help of a walk-off home run from Wilmer Flores.

Flores played first base, going 0-3 with a walk before his heroics that snapped a 2-2 game in the ninth.

Noah Syndergaard took a no decision after pitching extremely well in what was another raw, cold, April day - in which Major League Baseball was celebrating Jackie Robinson Day. 'Thor' struck out eleven over 5 and 1/3 innings, yielding a run on two hits. During one stretch, Syndergaard K'd eight consecutive Brewers.

The Mets (12-2) welcome Washington to Citi Field for the start of a three-game series on Monday night.
