Photos and Video From Historic Storm Hitting East Coast

The blizzard slamming the east coast is closing airports, subways, train stations and roads. Store shelves are bare as everyone stocked up on bread, milk, toilet paper and of course beer. Soup and coffee sales are skyrocketing as people try to stay warm.

Thousands of flights have been cancelled and 40 million people could lose power in what New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called "the worst storm in New York's history." He warned everyone to "prepare for the worst."

Check road conditions and whether portions of New York State Thruway are open. You can also look into flights if you have plans to fly anywhere near the east coast.
