Woman Arrested After Halloween House Party

A Halloween party guest in Utica may have been having too good a time at a house party on Saturday.

39-Year old Carmella Hare was arrested after Utica Police responded to a home on the 1000 block of James Street.

Officers were told that Hare had refused to leave the party after being asked to do so. Police asked her to leave the area after they say she became "belligerent." In a written release they say she refused and became combative, fighting officers before they were able to detain her.

Hare is charged with resisting arrest (a misdemeanor), disorderly conduct, and harassment. She was also issued a traffic summons.
