Woman Arrested For DWI, Leaving Scene Of Accident
New Hartford, NY (WIBX) – A New Hartford woman was arrested after being involved in a hit and run car accident on Oneida Street in Chadwicks.
New Hartford Police say the accident occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday morning when 22-year-old Sheryl Supernak of New Hartford hit a pick-up truck parked off the roadway. She then continued to drive about a half-mile until she pulled over.
Police say they were interviewing Supernak and it appeared she was under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and charged with DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Refusal to Take a Breath Test and No Proof of Insurance.
She will appear in New Hartford Town Court next month.
