Woman Charged After Mall Incident

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A Utica woman is facing charges following an incident at the Sangertown Mall.

New Hartford Police say 20-year old Shayla Blackshear initiated a physical altercation with a man while in the Dicks Sporting Goods store.

Police say when approached by mall security officers, Blackshear became verbally abusive toward them, yelling and using obscene language.

Blackshear was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct.
