Woman Charged In Hit And Run Accident

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) -  A New Hartford woman faces several charges for allegedly leaving the scene after hitting another vehicle in the Slocum Dickson parking lot.

Police say Deatra Williams, 35, hit the other vehicle with her SUV while trying to park at the facility on Burrstone Road. Police say Williams left because she knew she had a suspended license and registration because her insurance lapsed.

She faces several charges including aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with a suspended or revoked license/registration and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
