Woman Charged With Fleeing From Police Officer

Rome, NY (WIBX) – A Westmoreland woman has been arrested for unlawfully fleeing a police officer.State Police say Sharon Henderson was stopped for a traffic violation on Martin Street in Rome and while the trooper was conducting a file check, Henderson took off at a high rate of speed.
Henderson’s vehicle was found a short time later after she was involved in an accident in the Town of Verona.
She was charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, reckless driving and numerous vehicle and traffic violations.
