Woman Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband

Marcy, NY (WIBX) - A New York City woman has been charged with bringing drugs into the MIdstate Correctional Facility.

State Police say 24-year old Paola Garcia was found to be in possession of marijuana and the controlled substance suboxone.

Garcia was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and promoting prison contraband.

She was arraigned in Town of Marcy Court and sent to the Oneida County jail on $20,000 bail.
