Woman Lands In Creek, Charged With DWI

Taberg, NY (WIBX) - A Taberg woman was charged with DWI after driving her vehicle into a creek.According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 63-year old Mary Kohl was attempting to turn into her driveway when she instead drove her vehicle over a concrete retaining wall.

Deputies say Kohl's vehicle fell about 15 feet, landing in Furnace Creek, where it rolled onto its roof in the shallow water.

Members of the Taberg Fire Department pulled Kohl from the creek.

She was taken to Rome Hospital, where she was treated for exposure and released.
