A Gloversville woman has been sentenced to three to six years in New York Sate prison for tax fraud.

According to the state department of taxation and finance Crystal Sweet, 38, plead guilty to filing multiple false tax returns using the names and social security numbers of several Gloversville residents.

Sweet allegedly stole over $23,000 in personal income tax refunds during the 2009 - 2012 tax years.

In addition to her prison term, Sweet was ordered to repay all the money she stole.
