Woman Uninjured After Hitting Train

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office say a Middleville woman drove her vehicle into the side of a moving Amtrak train in Verona.  

Deputies say 29-year-old Shelby Schumacher ignored a train crossing yesterday afternoon on Blackmans Corners Road and hit the passenger train.

Schumacher was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, but was not injured.

There were 4 crew members and 182 passengers on the train, but no one was hurt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
