ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found among debris dumped at a western New York recycling center.

Police in Rochester say a worker noticed the body Monday morning among a pile of recyclables at the Monroe County Recycling Center.

Police say they believe he was dead before his body was brought to the facility in a recyclables container. Detectives are still trying to identify the man and how he died.

Officials say the man, who apparently was in his early 50s, might have been homeless. Investigators don't consider the death suspicious.
