World Series of Bocce in Rome – This Week In The Mohawk Valley

Long known as the ‘Getaway Region’ of New York, Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley always have something interesting to offer, this week the World Series of Bocce comes to Rome.

WIBX 950 in conjunction with Oneida County Tourism host This Week In The Mohawk Valley and the CNY Travel Show to highlight community events and opportunities that are coming to the Mohawk Valley throughout the week.

This week, Larry Giardino and David Fiorini from the Rome Toccolana Club in Rome, joins Kelly Blazosky of Oneida County Tourism and Jim to talk about the 43 Annual World Series of Bocce coming to the Rome Toccolana Club beginning July 13th with more than 120 teams.

The Mohawk Valley has many upcoming community events and activities for the coming week including the 40th Boilermaker Road Race, a concert in Utica, a Saranac Thursday, Shakespeare in the Garden at the Rome Art and Community Center, the Bavarian Festival, the Hog Revolution Rally in Utica and more.
