Ho, ho, ho-ly cow.

For the last 21 years, the small town of Gubbio, Italy has been home to the largest Christmas tree in the world. Getting trees where they need to be is no easy task, so kudos to the town for sticking with this one.

The tree was lit up last weekend and if the stats are any indication, Santa and his reindeer can probably see it before they even leave the North Pole.

The tree measures more than 10,760 square feet and uses 1,000 lights. Let's not forget the 250 other lights needed to fire up the shooting star, either.

Pity the poor people in the neighboring town, who no doubt have Christmas tree envy.
